Company Description
Founded in 1982, Green Hills Software, Inc. is the largest independent vendor of embedded development solutions. In 2005, Green Hills INTEGRITY microkernel technology was independently certified by both TUV and exida to both IEC61508 SIL 3 and EN50128 SWSIL 4, the highest functional safety level possible for independent software components. In 2008, the Green Hills INTEGRITY microkernel technology was certified by the NSA to EAL6+ High Robustness, the highest level of security ever achieved for any software product. In 2012, Green Hills MULTI toolchain obtained ISO 26262 ASIL D qualification, IEC61508 SIL4 certification and EN50128 SWSIL4 certification by TUV and exida, signifying its accepted use when developing the most safety critical software components in automotive, industrial and rail. Our open architecture, integrated development solutions and uniquely qualified in-house expertise address deeply embedded, high performance, absolute security and high-reliability applications for the networking, military/avionics, medical, industrial, automotive, consumer, mobile and other markets that demand industry-certified solutions. Green Hills Software is headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA, with European headquarters in the United Kingdom.

Wind River Systems provides software operating systems and development tools for embedded systems. A microprocessor and software comprise embedded systems, which are used in more than 1 billion products that include auto braking systems, Internet traffic routers, jet fighter control panels, mobile phones, set-top boxes, traffic signals, and other consumer electronics.

Lantronix, Inc. is a global leader of secure communication technologies that simplify remote access, management and control of any electronic device. Their solutions empower businesses to make better decisions based on real-time information, and gain a competitive advantage by generating new revenue streams, improving productivity and increasing efficiency and profitability.
The pioneering spirit of company founders Erwin Bernecker and Josef Rainer, together with the vision of accomplishing something exceptional for the automation industry, still influences the company's strategy today. This conviction led to the establishment of the first international subsidiaries in 1983. Entrepreneurial courage, along with remarkable foresight, allowed B&R to prosper into an international company within the last quarter of a century. Excellent intuition regarding market developments and trends, combined with the ambition to offer high-tech solutions that benefit customers, has allowed B&R to become an industry leader in innovation and technology. Year founded: 1979

MDS, the leader of embedded solution companies in Korea, has been focusing on embedded industry for more than 15 years and has about 1000 customer companies including Samsung, LG, Hyundai, SK, KT etc. We provide customers with worldwide leading-edge embedded solutions and aim to help customers to reduce time-to-market with improved quality by providing the most effective total solutions for embedded industry such as mobile, digital device, automobile, arespave, etc.

Grovf is an engineering company aimed to develop hardware and software products to assist Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Big Data problems. Here at Grovf we help our industrial customers to solve IoT generated Big Data storage problems using hardware (FPGA) implementation of DB functionality in order to close the gap between IoT generated data throughput and software database transaction speed, resulting 20x faster transactions and power saving.
IoT Solutions

Building safe and secure systems is the hallmark of Wind River. For the past 30 years they have been ensuring that safety-critical systems, for everything from industrial plants and electrical substations to jet airliners and commuter trains, absolutely work without fail. They are now harnessing our decades of field experience to deploy advanced technologies such as software agents and microkernels to more fully integrate our ultra-reliable operating systems into the Internet of Things (IoT). The Internet of Things is officially here. And with it are not only new challenges, but also untapped value and immense opportunity estimated at $19 trillion. Realize IoT’s huge potential with Wind River Helix, a comprehensive portfolio of software solutions for harnessing intelligence to drive innovation and business transformation. With their offering, developers and device manufacturers can not only create the safe, secure, and reliable intelligent systems that make up IoT, but also move the data generated by these systems–from the secure and managed devices at the edge, through the gateway, across the critical network infrastructure, and up into the cloud. Wind River Helix is everything a business needs to both survive and thrive in this exciting new era of data.

The FPGA - Accelerated Time Series Database is a dedicated hardware for IoT data storage. Smart Sensors data pass directly into FPGA from Ethernet adapter bypassing any type of operating systems and software layers. All data processing takes place under FPGA on fly and streams into SSD for storage. Artificial Intelligence algorithms are used to continuously evaluate interconnections between channels, classify and predict data. Device provides general functionality of software enabled time series database systems while implemented on hardware layer. FPGA’s native parallel feature is heavily used to achieve the data throughput in order of magnitude greater then all available software enabled time series database systems can offer.
