European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI)
We produce globally applicable standards for Information & Communications Technologies including fixed, mobile, radio, broadcast, internet, aeronautical and other areas.
Home Gateway Initiative (HGI)
HGI has completed its mission to set key specifications for Home Gateways, Home Networks, and the Smart Home. HGI worked from 2005 until 2016.
M2M Alliance
The primary objective of the M2M Alliance is to promote M2M technologies and solutions. The M2M Alliance actively advocates for the economic interests of its members, and promotes cooperation and the exchange of experiences among the various sectors and companies.
OASIS Consortium (OASIS)
OASIS promotes industry consensus and produces worldwide standards for security, Internet of Things, cloud computing, energy, content technologies, emergency management, and other areas. OASIS open standards offer the potential to lower cost, stimulate innovation, grow global markets, and protect the right of free choice of technology.
oneM2M
The purpose of oneM2M is to develop technical specifications which address the need for a common M2M Service Layer that can be readily embedded within various hardware and software, and relied upon to connect the myriad of devices in the field with M2M application servers worldwide.
Eclipse IoT
IoT needs open source to be successful. Eclipse IoT simplifies IoT development by providing open source implementations of the standards, services and frameworks that enable an Open Internet of Things.
IoT M2M Council (IMC)
The IMC is the largest and fastest-growing trade organisation in the IoT/M2M sector, with over 25,000 OEMs, enterprise users, and apps developers as members, and an average of 300 new members joining weekly. The IMC brings a new approach – it will increase deployments of IoT/M2M solutions by proving the business case of the technology to those that would adopter it. It will stand for connectivity as its own global industry, and will not see IoT/M2M technology through the narrow lens of technical standards or a single vertical industry. The IMC will support industry efforts to increase deployment volumes by offering members services that connect Solutions Providers with Adopters of IoT/M2M technology and meeting their evolving needs.
