Company Description
Espressif Systems is dedicated to the research, design, and development of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth solutions. Espressif Systems’ SoCs are used in mobile devices, home appliances and industrial applications. Their Wi-Fi chipsets integrate TR filters, diplexers, power amplifiers, receive low noise amplifiers, RF baluns and antenna switch - all in a single piece of silicon, with less than 8 external components to realize Wi-Fi functionality.

Arduino is an open-source prototyping platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. Arduino boards are able to read inputs - light on a sensor, a finger on a button, or a Twitter message - and turn it into an output - activating a motor, turning on an LED, publishing something online. All this is defined by a set of instructions programmed through the Arduino software. Arduino was born at the Ivrea Interaction Design Institute as an easy tool for fast prototyping, aimed at students without a background in electronics and programming. As soon as it reached a wider community, the Arduino board started changing to adapt to new needs and challenges, differentiating its offer from simple 8-bit boards to products for IoT applications, wearable, 3D printing, and embedded environments.

Toradex specializes in embedded computing technology, offering ARM®-based System on Modules (SOMs) and Customized SBCs. Complemented with direct online sales and long-term product availability, Toradex offers direct premium support and ex-stock availability with local warehouses. Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Horw, Switzerland, the company’s network stretches across the globe with additional offices in the USA, Vietnam, China, India, Japan, and Brazil.
Grovf is an engineering company aimed to develop hardware and software products to assist Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Big Data problems. Here at Grovf we help our industrial customers to solve IoT generated Big Data storage problems using hardware (FPGA) implementation of DB functionality in order to close the gap between IoT generated data throughput and software database transaction speed, resulting 20x faster transactions and power saving.
Terasic was founded in early 2000 with the major goal of developing world class FPGA development platforms. Our headquarter office is located in Hsin Chu, Taiwan which is also known as the Silicon Valley of Asia. A branch office is established in Wuhan, China as well. Terasic offers expertise in FPGA/ASIC Design, High Speed Board Design and Layout, Low Cost Board Design, Device Drivers, and all other support Softwares and Documentations. Our cutting-edge design and manufacturing capabilities provide the state of the art products and exceptional services to our customers.
Established by members of the Israel Defense Forces’ elite technology unit, Hailo developed the best performing AI processors for edge devices. With worldwide business activities and world leading partners in different domains, Hailo’s deep technology is set to transform the AI chip industry, putting new compute possibilities within reach. The AI processor is designed to fit into smart devices in various industries and use cases including automotive, smart cities, retail, and industry 4.0.
IoT Solutions
By integrating all critical components on a single die, Espressif Systems solutions feature reliable operation over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Packing rich functionality and versatility in one tiny package, the solutions they provide are engineered for the Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Their transceivers are carefully designed from ground up. With a properly matched antenna and regulated power source, the units have very low spurious spectral emissions that may disrupt or affect the performance of other systems.
The FPGA - Accelerated Time Series Database is a dedicated hardware for IoT data storage. Smart Sensors data pass directly into FPGA from Ethernet adapter bypassing any type of operating systems and software layers. All data processing takes place under FPGA on fly and streams into SSD for storage. Artificial Intelligence algorithms are used to continuously evaluate interconnections between channels, classify and predict data. Device provides general functionality of software enabled time series database systems while implemented on hardware layer. FPGA’s native parallel feature is heavily used to achieve the data throughput in order of magnitude greater then all available software enabled time series database systems can offer.
The solution Hailo presents bridges the gap between existing and future AI technologies and the compute capacity needed to power these applications. The company is focused on building AI processors efficient and compact enough to compute and interpret vast amounts of data in real-time — processors that can be embedded in the edge devices themselves.
