Algodonera Avellaneda S.A. is a leading cotton gin and one of the main exporters of cotton fiber in Argentina. The company operates five cotton gins distributed throughout various Argentinean provinces, with a total production capacity of 3,000 tons per day. Algodonera Avellaneda is part of the Vicentin Group and employs 2,850 people. The company is involved in the spinning of cotton, blends, and twisted yarns, as well as the production of knit fabrics. Their final products include 100% cotton, combed, carded, and open-end spinning, as well as 100% viscose and polyester/cotton blends. The company holds several certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.
The Solution
SoftExpert CPM Suite and SoftExpert EQM Suite were implemented to improve quality and indicator management at Algodonera Avellaneda.
