The Challenge
Apptix, a Hosted Exchange provider, was facing challenges with its existing email migration tools. The tools were not versatile enough to cater to a range of business sizes and lacked features such as calendar and contact support for common mail systems. Apptix needed a solution that could serve all of its partners and their clients, regardless of their size or complexity. One of Apptix’s major telecom partners, MegaPath, was also in need of a better email migration solution. The manual work required for self-migration of email was causing delays in customer implementations and slowing down the order process.

The Solution
Apptix turned to BitTitan’s MigrationWiz for a solution. MigrationWiz is an almost entirely automated service, eliminating concerns about training or user error. It offered functionality and integration with the largest number of email platforms, and the most versatility in areas beyond basic mailbox migration. In addition to migrating email, MigrationWiz also allowed Apptix and MegaPath to migrate calendars, contacts, tasks, journals, rules, permissions, public folders, and documents, based on their customers’ needs and source mail system. MegaPath was so pleased with MigrationWiz that they decided to offer it to their customers for free to improve customer onboarding and overall satisfaction.
