The Challenge
SportsCafe, a digital platform for Indian sports fans, was facing a challenge in increasing traffic and engagement on their website. The majority of their revenue came from digital advertising, and with the industry seeing a 20% growth year over year, they were keen to capitalize on this trend. However, they were heavily reliant on traditional means of driving traffic, such as social media and Google AdWords. Despite these efforts, 90% of their traffic was from anonymous visitors, and they were struggling to create a pool of engaged visitors who would regularly return to the site. This was particularly important for mobile users, who were a key demographic for SportsCafe.
About The Customer
SportsCafe is a digital platform dedicated to Indian sports fans. It provides a comprehensive range of services, including live scores, match reports, features, and much more. As a digital advertising-driven site, SportsCafe relies heavily on increasing visitors and engagement on their website to boost revenue. The majority of their traffic comes from anonymous visitors, and they have been using traditional means such as social media and Google AdWords to drive traffic. However, they were looking for innovative ways to increase traffic and create a pool of engaged visitors who would keep coming back to the site, especially on mobile devices.
The Solution
To address this challenge, SportsCafe implemented MoEngage Web Push, a tool that allowed them to deliver mobile app-like push notifications on both desktop and mobile devices. This solution enabled them to reach out to over 10,000 users with real-time web push notifications, establishing themselves as a trusted source for real-time sports information. They used advanced segmentation based on fans' sports interests to send timely and relevant notifications, which significantly increased overall page views on the website. Additionally, MoEngage's goal tracking feature allowed SportsCafe to identify their most loyal audience segments, target them with specific messages, and measure the impact on metrics like time spent on the site.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
