AMX, a company that simplifies the way people interact with technology, was facing challenges with its SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamics CRM deployment. The Solution
AMX installed the Circadence MVO WAN optimization solution. As a result, SharePoint users abroad were able to download documents 545% faster, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM users were able to print reports 250% faster. Circadence empowered AMX’s distributed workforce to use Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamics to communicate, collaborate, and connect in ways they have come to expect when directly connected to a local area network. The Circadence approach, based on replacing TCP with their patented TMP protocol, accelerates SharePoint applications (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint) up to 40 times faster while substantially reducing bandwidth utilization. Circadence MVO maintains sessions whether the connection is “live” or not. Circadence MVO persists through micro-outages (experienced daily by wireless device users) or “user-induced” connection loss. When connectivity is re-established, the session picks up where it left off.
