The Challenge
Rimkus, a global leader in engineering and technical consulting, needed to digitalize their processes to improve project oversight, save time, and increase operational efficiency. They had to move away from excessive paperwork that slowed project completion and had potential for mistakes/human error. The company spent three months searching for the best platform to digitalize their Special Inspection Field Reports, which involve a flow used to provide a detailed record of site visits.

The Rimkus Built Environment Solutions team is comprised of engineers, architects, and technical specialists who provide global services to operate the built environment with a focus on carbon footprint reduction, resiliency, maintainability, and sustainability. To best support their clients, it was essential for the experts on the Rimkus team to digitalize their processes in order to improve project oversight, save time, and increase operational efficiency.
The Solution
Rimkus decided that FlowForma Process Automation was the perfect fit for their needs. They digitalized their Special Inspection Field Reports as a templated form with all inputs residing in one place. The process was beta-tested with employees of varying degrees of tech savviness, which gave everyone an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the look and feel of the software and ask questions.
