Auto-Turn Manufacturing, Inc. is a company based in Tulsa, Oklahoma that has been in operation since 1983. The company produces component parts for a wide variety of industries including aviation, oil pipelining, and the fracking industry. In 2006, the company was purchased by Gary Shotton, an individual with an engineering background and a process-oriented mindset. Upon purchasing the company, Gary saw the potential for improvements and began to make significant changes to modernize the company's operations.
The Solution
Auto-Turn Manufacturing decided to implement the E2 Shop System to modernize its operations. The E2 Shop System was recommended by Gary's daughter, who works at QuickBooks. The integration of E2 with QuickBooks was seamless and quick, and E2’s support team was readily available to address any issues. The E2 Shop System provided a solution to the company's problem of inter-departmental communication and modernized its operations. Since the on-boarding of E2 in 2006, Auto-Turn has systematically implemented several E2 modules including the Advanced Quality Control, the Data Collection, the QuickBooks interface, and the Advanced Scheduling module. Auto-Turn also uses E2 to maintain its ISO certification.
