The Challenge
Eurofound, a Dublin-based European Union agency, was facing challenges with its internal HR review procedures due to significant EU changes to the way employers assess employees. The agency needed a Process Automation tool to support a HR team of six people and a workforce of 110. Compounding the need to meet new regulatory requirements were issues around the application Eurofound had been using for electronic forms. The InfoPath software was being discontinued, and its limited features struggled to deliver the workflow functionality that the agency was looking for. The agency was looking for a solution that could replace the ageing form-building application and meet the increasingly regulated HR procedures.
About The Customer
Eurofound is a Dublin-based European Union agency that provides research and knowledge in the area of social and work-related policies for the improvement of living and working conditions. The agency is constantly evaluating business processes to increase efficiencies and save money. The agency has a HR team of six people and a workforce of 110. Eurofound is a Microsoft house that has made SharePoint® the central pillar of its internal application development.
The Solution
Eurofound decided to go with FlowForma Process Automation. The software was a natural fit as it was built from the ground up to integrate with the SharePoint platform. The company’s Human Resource Development Plan (HRDP) that prompted the FlowForma Process Automation investment is a complex employee review process that takes place over a year. After some initial training from the FlowForma team, Pritchard took just a week to build a solution aligned to the intricacies of the HRDP, involving multiple stakeholders, forms going back and forward, and an appeals process that needed to be incorporated into the workflow. FlowForma Process Automation has become a strategically important application that’s used across the organization.

Flex Contact Center: Supporting rapid business growth with IBM Connections Cloud and IBM Verse
Flex Contact Center, a professional services company offering telesales, call-center, anti-attrition, back-office, helpdesk and collection services, has grown rapidly since its establishment in 2009. With operations in 12 sites across two states and four cities in Brazil, the company employs more than 11,000 people. However, the company realized that to prevent barriers to future expansion, it was essential to make it as easy as possible for its people to work together effectively—even if they were based in separate geographical locations. Traditional approaches to collaboration—based on email and phone calls—threatened to reduce productivity. Flex Contact Center wanted to enable better collaboration and communication across its workforce, but did not want to make large investments in infrastructure.

PureFluent: Connecting to partners and customers through the cloud for enhanced productivity
