The Solution
Freshworks evaluated several NoSQL in-memory databases and ultimately chose Redis Enterprise Cloud from Redis Labs to replace Amazon ElastiCache. Redis Enterprise Cloud provided high in-memory performance, flexible data structures, and fully managed operations, which accelerated application delivery. Freshworks utilized Redis Enterprise for various use cases, including metering API requests, persistent data storage for background jobs, session storage for authentication microservices, and real-time analytics.
