The founder of Giftenizer, Oleksiy Matveyev, was faced with the common problem of receiving unwanted gifts or struggling to find the perfect gift for loved ones. This challenge was further compounded by the need to surprise the recipient without revealing the chosen gift. Additionally, Oleksiy wanted to create a solution that would not require extensive coding knowledge or time-consuming backend development. He needed a platform that would allow him to focus on the user interface and logic of the application, rather than the technical aspects of coding.
About The Customer
Giftenizer is designed for anyone who has ever struggled with gift-giving. Whether it's the challenge of finding the perfect gift for a loved one or the disappointment of receiving an unwanted present, Giftenizer aims to solve these common problems. The app is particularly useful for those who value surprise in gift-giving, as it ensures that the recipient will not know whether a particular item has been purchased. Giftenizer users range from individuals to families and groups of friends, essentially anyone who wants to streamline the gift-giving process and ensure that their gifts are always appreciated.
The Solution
Oleksiy chose to build his application on Bubble, a no-code platform that allowed him to quickly develop his app without having to code. The Giftenizer app serves as a social network that connects friends and family, allowing them to share their wish lists for upcoming events. Users can reserve and purchase gifts from recommended online stores, with the assurance that the app will not reveal to the event host whether a particular item has been bought. The app also synchronizes any changes across the user's network and sends notifications for upcoming events. The only requirement to use the app is internet access.
