The Challenge
The Urban Planning Department of the Government of Umm Al Quwain, located in the northern part of the United Arab Emirates, is responsible for regulating all housing and building structures within the Emirate. The department, which comprises over 80 part-time CAD users, constantly reviews drawings within their CAD master-file, a large and complex spatial drawing of the entire Emirate. The management team was in search of a high-quality CAD solution that could handle the large file sizes and increase productivity across the department. They had a list of requirements for a premium quality CAD tool.
