Before the implementation of Domo, iPro Systems, the data and analytics arm of Alliance Retail Group, was primarily focused on billing and adjudication. The company desired to share business insights with retailers and vendors, but this proved to be a challenge due to the complexity of the data. iPro Systems is the data and analytics arm of Alliance Retail Group, a company that enables independent grocery stores across the United States to band together and negotiate the lowest cost of goods possible. iPro Systems provides the insights these retailers require to understand what is happening in their stores and where they should focus their attention. The company's focus was rooted in billing and adjudication, but they desired to share business insights with retailers and vendors. However, this proved to be a challenge due to the complexity of the data.
The Solution
iPro Systems implemented Domo Everywhere, a data visualization and management platform. This platform allows retailers to access data in visual, easy-to-understand dashboards that are updated nightly. These dashboards provide updates into sales data, shipment data, and other data sources, creating additional derivative data that provides valuable new insights to help retailers and vendors drive their business. With Domo Everywhere, iPro gives each user access to its own metrics based on more than a dozen data sources. Personalized Data Permissions ensure that each user sees only the data that is pertinent to them without requiring iPro to create or manage separate dashboards. Users can identify specific vendors, brands, divisions, departments, categories, subcategories or individual UPCs that impact business so they can take action.
