The platform is designed to deliver an awesome experience for its readers, with a heavy emphasis on design and speed. The website serves a lot of videos and uses images, CSS, and JavaScript, which can potentially slow down the website's loading speed.
The Solution
FounderLY decided to sign up for Cloudflare to address their website speed issues. Cloudflare was incredibly easy to enable and did not require any engineering resources to configure the caching settings. This saved FounderLY two weeks of their developer’s time. Cloudflare's technology automatically took care of the caching settings, allowing the FounderLY team to focus on their core business. Cloudflare cut FounderLY's load time in half, doubling the speed of their website for their readers in Europe, Asia, and the United States. Despite floods in traffic when new interviews are released, Cloudflare helps their server stay online.
