The Challenge
The founder of PanelScout, Charlie Poland, identified a significant challenge in the developer-client relationship. When a developer undertakes a project for a client, it can be difficult to fully understand the project's scope and the client's design preferences. This lack of clarity can lead to miscommunication, inefficiencies, and dissatisfaction on both sides. The challenge was to create a tool that could gather crucial pre-build information from the client, including the project's aim, target audience, and design and color preferences, and make it readily accessible for the developer.
About The Customer
PanelScout is designed for developers and their clients. Developers who often struggle to understand their clients' needs and design preferences can use the app to gather crucial pre-build information. The app is particularly useful for developers working on multiple projects, as it allows them to keep all client information organized and readily accessible. Clients, on the other hand, can use the app to clearly communicate their project aims and design preferences, ensuring that they are more likely to be satisfied with the final product. PanelScout is also beneficial for non-technical entrepreneurs like Charlie Poland, who can use the app to streamline their project development process.
The Solution
To address this challenge, Charlie Poland developed PanelScout, an app built on the Bubble no-code platform. When developers embark on a new project, they create a new 'panel' on PanelScout. They enter the panel's name, any notes for the client, and the client's email. The panel is then automatically sent to the client, who fills out the requested information. The developer is notified once the client completes the form. The color scheme of every panel is customizable, allowing the user to match the project to a specific theme. The app is designed to streamline the initial stages of project development, ensuring that developers have a clear understanding of their clients' needs and preferences from the outset.

Intelligent Building Automation System and Energy Saving Solution
One of the most difficult problems facing the world is conserving energy in buildings. However, it is not easy to have a cost-effective solution to reduce energy usage in a building. One solution for saving energy is to implement an intelligent building automation system (BAS) which can be controlled according to its schedule. In Indonesia a large university with a five floor building and 22 classrooms wanted to save the amount of energy being used.
