The Challenge
PlugCorner, a listing app, was created with the aim of providing a platform for freelancers and independent business owners to gain exposure and connect with potential clients worldwide. The challenge was to create an easy-to-use platform that would allow users to find and discover businesses based on their locations and products. The founder, Aïssatou Sane, an accountant with no prior experience in coding, was faced with the task of building complex features for the app without any coding knowledge. The goal was to get a large number of professionals registered on PlugCorner to give visitors the best view on the nearest and best-ranked businesses around them geographically.
About The Customer
PlugCorner is designed for freelancers, independent business owners, and potential clients worldwide. It serves as a platform for professionals to gain exposure and connect with potential clients. The app is also beneficial for users looking for specific services or products. They can easily find and discover businesses based on their locations and products. The app also allows users to communicate with business owners or freelancers via a messaging tool, save business pages in collections, and leave reviews on business pages. The reviews help create a ranking list of the best professionals for any category, making it easier for users to find the best service providers.
The Solution
Sane discovered Bubble, a no-code tool that allowed her to create her idea without any coding experience. Bubble's simplicity in learning and understanding the functionality caught her attention. It also provided the opportunity to execute more complex features. With Bubble's unmatched simplicity and extensive functionality, Sane was able to build her app without code. The app allows business owners to sign up and create a public page where all of their business information will be displayed. Users can search and find a business that will provide a service or product that they need, communicate with the business owner/freelancer via the messaging tool, and save business pages in collections that they can create. Users can also leave a review on business pages, creating a ranking list of the best professionals for any category.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
