As the organization was planning for evolution and expansion, they wanted to determine the success of their quality processes. They also needed a means of benchmarking data to facilitate target setting for 2009 and subsequent years.
About The Customer
The customer in this case study is GSI Technologies, a printing company. The company was facing challenges in managing quality nonconformance data and required an automated document control system to replace their current manual system. They were also looking for a solution that could help them determine the success of their quality processes before they embarked on organizational evolution and expansion. Additionally, they needed a system that could facilitate benchmarking of data for target setting in 2009 and the following years.
The Solution
To address these challenges, GSI Technologies implemented Intelex’s web-based Quality Management System (QMS), focusing primarily on quality nonconformance reporting and document control. The QMS modules were configured to adapt workflow and set up routing to facilitate the company's quality management needs. On-site training provided by Intelex’s Client Services team enabled GSI Technologies' employees to quickly and effectively learn the Intelex Quality Management System. The ease of system use improved efficiency and productivity.
