Silverton Casino is a prominent entertainment venue located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The casino boasts 300 deluxe rooms and suites, a variety of restaurants, and more than 90,000 square feet of gaming space with over 2000 slot machines and 30 card tables. Employing approximately 800 employees, Silverton was recently voted as a “Best Place to Work” in Las Vegas. The casino operates in an environment where data integrity and confidentiality are critical, making network security a top priority.
The Solution
Silverton Casino adopted the Check Point UTM-1 576 appliance and multiple Software Blades to ensure comprehensive multi-layered protection for its network. The appliance, positioned at the edge of the Silverton network, protects the casino from illegitimate traffic and potential intruders. The integrated IPS solution, a PCI requirement for all companies processing credit card information over the internet, provides Silverton with multi-layered threat protection, ensuring customer data security, PCI compliance, and ease of management.
