For over 30 years, SuperConcepts has supported accounting firms, financial advisers, and individuals in managing their retirement savings. The company operates on two strategic pillars: SMSF administration services to ensure tax and legal compliance, and SuperMate, a specialist SMSF accounting software. With a team of 650+ employees, SuperConcepts handles sensitive financial data, making security a critical concern.
The Solution
SuperConcepts implemented Abnormal's API-based email security solution to address the sophisticated email threats bypassing their existing security measures. The integration with Microsoft 365 was seamless, allowing Abnormal to start ingesting data and learning the environment immediately. During the proof of value, Abnormal identified and flagged several VIP spear phishing attacks and a third-party attack in progress. Abnormal's behavioral threat detection solution auto-remediates threats, freeing up the cybersecurity team to focus on other security topics. The solution also includes VendorBase, which monitors vendor activity and accounts for indicators of compromise, providing comprehensive email protection in real-time.
