Windings' products are used in diverse applications, from pumping fuel to controlling aircraft flaps and running refrigeration systems. The company has built a strong reputation for quality, which has helped it grow its customer base through word-of-mouth and trade show appearances. Windings continues to expand its reach by offering highly specialized, low-quantity run motors and providing full technical support for its custom-made products.
The Solution
To address its challenges, Windings, Inc. decided to implement SYSPRO Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software in 1998, with assistance from Enterprise Minnesota and RTE for implementation. SYSPRO was chosen for its versatility and ability to migrate to SQL, enabling custom programming and enhanced analytics. The implementation process was smooth, with proactive involvement from Windings' staff. The company has continued to stay current with new releases of SYSPRO, maximizing its use of the software.
