The Challenge
TecAlliance, a leading solution provider for the automotive aftermarket, was facing challenges with their existing BizTalk server monitoring system. The system was the core of their Order solution, used for mapping different input formats and for communication with customer interfaces. However, the monitoring system was inefficient and required a lot of manual effort to ensure the production environment was running smoothly. The system lacked a graphical overview of system health and notifications for any issues in the environment. The team had to rely on self-programmed scripts and tools, which were not customizable and required a lot of manual monitoring effort. This led the team to consider alternative products with better customization options for BizTalk server monitoring.
About The Customer
TecAlliance is a leading solution provider for the automotive aftermarket. The company offers data, processes, and integrated services with the goal of speeding up processes and making information available quickly for all participants in the digital aftermarket. Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Ismaning, Germany, TecAlliance handles approximately 25 million item enquiries and orders per month for over 280 brands and roughly 20,000 customer sites worldwide. BizTalk is a crucial part of their operations as it is the core of their Order solution, used for mapping different input formats and for communication with customer interfaces.
The Solution
The team at TecAlliance chose BizTalk360 as their new monitoring system. BizTalk360 was recommended by the external company that developed the BizTalk solution for TecAlliance. The team appreciated BizTalk360’s flexible customization options for BizTalk server monitoring and found the installation and configuration process to be very easy. BizTalk360 also offered additional features such as data monitoring, Web endpoint monitoring, and auto healing, which were of specific interest to TecAlliance. The Monitoring Dashboard feature provided a holistic view of the state of the environment, and the Auto Healing capability helped recover from unexpected downtimes. TecAlliance now uses BizTalk360 as a pure monitoring tool for alerts.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
