The Solution

The One Point collaborated with VCW Security to find an alternative endpoint security solution that could scale to their infrastructure and keep them malware-free. After testing Comodo’s Advanced Endpoint Protection (AEP) technology in a personal environment, IT Solutions Manager Bryn Abbott found it to be highly effective. The One Point implemented Comodo AEP in January 2014 and has remained malware-free since. Comodo AEP utilizes a Default Deny Platform to block all known malware and only allows trusted applications to run. Unknown applications are contained in an isolated environment, preventing malware from causing harm. The solution also integrates with Comodo’s Specialized Threat Analysis and Protection (STAP) engine, providing rapid analysis and verdicts on unknown files. The Comodo ITSM dashboard offers panoramic insight and control over endpoint protection, allowing The One Point’s IT team to manage security policies and quickly remediate issues.
