About The Customer
The customer in this case study is a university. The university was seeking a solution to help them comply with ISO 14001 standards and effectively manage regulatory noncompliance. They wanted a system that could handle both internal objectives and external regulations such as OSHA and fire inspections. The university needed a solution that would ensure they passed all internal compliance inspections and external audits, both in the short and long term. They also required a system that could support the growth and evolving goals of the organization.
The Solution
The university implemented Intelex’s Environmental Management System, with a special focus on Nonconformances and Corrective/Preventative Actions. Intelex’s knowledgeable staff aided the organization in selecting and customizing a solution that would successfully meet their short and long term goals. On site “train-the-trainers” sessions by Intelex’s staff provided training for the organization’s Environmental Health & Safety team, which in turn facilitated effective training of all other users (approximately 50 users).
