The Challenge
We2o, a technology company founded in 2014, aims to revolutionize the philanthropy sector by providing an online platform that leverages social data and the web to connect charities, companies, and donors. However, the company faced a significant challenge in building an architecture that could incorporate data and provide real-time analytics. Many charitable organizations were using outdated technology that offered little in terms of user engagement, and they lacked the ability to collect and analyze data about their online fundraising efforts. We2o needed a third-party partner with a robust, ready-made analytics solution that could be easily integrated into their platform.
About The Customer
We2o is a technology company founded in 2014 with a mission to transform the philanthropy sector. The company aims to spur giving by providing an online philanthropy platform that leverages social data and the web to connect charities, companies, and donors. The platform is designed to create an experience that is easy and transformative for everyone involved. We2o's goal is to increase the percentage of charitable giving that takes place online, which currently stands at just 6.7 percent. The company's founder and CEO, Michael Vo, saw a disconnect between charitable organizations seeking funds and the donors they were trying to reach, and he set out to address this issue by creating a platform that fosters engagement at every level.
The Solution
We2o found its solution in New Relic. The company chose New Relic for its reputation in the analytics space and the simplicity of its interface. New Relic Insights was integrated into We2o's platform in less than a week, providing the desired analytics capabilities. The solution allowed We2o to collect, analyze, and pass on data to users quickly. New Relic APM was also used to monitor the performance of We2o's platform, helping the company prepare the site to go live and ensure its continued operation. The data from New Relic Insights and APM will be used to understand user interaction with the platform and its performance, driving engagement and growth.
