The Solution
The company partnered with Software AG to implement a digital platform. The solution included webMethods Integration Server, which integrated existing systems and unified data into one 'Big Data Lake.' The company's R&D department used webMethods Business Process Management Suite (BPMS) to create a dynamic app that consolidated and automated the APR process. This began a five-year engagement wherein Software AG’s Global Consulting Services (GCS) team created business-transforming dynamic apps for the healthcare company. GCS built an app able to access critical product information for all globally commercialized products. By automating this process and designing the app to store data in-memory using Terracotta, GCS slashed search times by up to 99.6 percent, and results were 25 percent more accurate.
