The four-person team in charge of communication found it increasingly difficult to provide timely responses to everyone in need, which was crucial for their mission. The COVID-19 pandemic further exacerbated this issue, as the need for communication and support increased significantly.

Their work involves equipping the health system and conducting health operations throughout the country. They operate through 66 branches and 36 institutes of higher learning, where they teach first aid, nursing, surgical instrumentation, and other health careers. The organization values people, integrity, diversity, leadership, and innovation.
To address this challenge, the Argentine Red Cross decided to incorporate artificial intelligence into their communication process. They implemented AgentBot, a conversational chatbot powered by AI developed by Aivo. This decision was made possible by Aivo's program for NGOs, which offered the solution for free. The chatbot was integrated into the communication team to handle the numerous queries received daily on the organization's website and Facebook Messenger. The bot was designed to answer questions about volunteer work, courses and careers, donations, and support for emergencies. This solution allowed the team to focus on other tasks, while ensuring that all queries were addressed promptly and efficiently.
