The Challenge
LEAP Managed IT faced the challenge of generating professional IT assessments for clients that clearly pinpoint areas of required improvements. The goal was to increase the likelihood of closing on proposals that address the identified needs. The company needed a comprehensive tool to assess IT environments, identify vulnerabilities, and propose effective solutions. This would not only enhance their service delivery but also help in building trust with clients and prospects.
About The Customer
LEAP Managed IT is an outsourced IT company based in Muncie, Indiana. The company collaborates with organizations to ensure that technology does not hinder business momentum. LEAP Managed IT specializes in technology planning, business continuity, network security, 24x7 help desk support, managed firewalls and VPNs, managed server support, email/communications/phone, vendor management, and compliance standards. Their mission is to create technology environments that are safe, secure, user-friendly, and process-driven. They achieve this by evaluating, communicating, and strategizing to develop plans that meet their clients' technological needs.
The Solution
LEAP Managed IT adopted the Continuum Network Assessment Modules, powered by RapidFire Tools, to address their challenge. The process begins with an IT assessment where the team goes onsite to scan network devices and computers using the Continuum Network Assessment Premium Module. This module generates comprehensive reports covering all devices, network assets, settings, configurations, applications, and endpoint security. The Premium Module also produces an Active Directory site diagram and detailed information that can be integrated into proposals. The site survey template built into the assessment modules helps LEAP Managed IT understand how their prospects' businesses work and identify their reliance on technology. After combining the scanned data and the site survey into a report, LEAP Managed IT meets with each prospect to discuss the results, including areas of improvement and security vulnerabilities. This collaborative approach helps in developing proposals for implementing new technologies that the prospects require.

Flex Contact Center: Supporting rapid business growth with IBM Connections Cloud and IBM Verse
Flex Contact Center, a professional services company offering telesales, call-center, anti-attrition, back-office, helpdesk and collection services, has grown rapidly since its establishment in 2009. With operations in 12 sites across two states and four cities in Brazil, the company employs more than 11,000 people. However, the company realized that to prevent barriers to future expansion, it was essential to make it as easy as possible for its people to work together effectively—even if they were based in separate geographical locations. Traditional approaches to collaboration—based on email and phone calls—threatened to reduce productivity. Flex Contact Center wanted to enable better collaboration and communication across its workforce, but did not want to make large investments in infrastructure.
