Globacap, a UK-based fintech company and market leader in blockchain-based security issuance and administration, was faced with the challenge of simplifying and expanding access to global capital via their capital raising platform. The company aimed to issue a world’s first digital token that itself forms the legal shareholding in the company, extend their core team with specialists who have relevant experience and skills in fintech, develop a single-page application to ensure much-improved user experience, improve the KYC process, and enable companies to track transactions for their tokens. However, they faced challenges in ensuring the security of the platform and its compliance with a number of fintech regulations, developing a mechanism that would provide easy management of digitized equity, and scaling a team with relevant competencies within a short time frame.

The company aims to simplify and widen access to global capital via their capital raising platform. Globacap partnered with N-iX, a software development company, to build a platform that brings capital raising and asset administration into the digital world. N-iX provided consulting services in the area of fintech and assembled a team of skilled Ruby and JavaScript software developers. They developed a single-page application with JavaScript to ensure seamless user experience, easy development, and simplified debugging. They also built an internal API that connects SPA with back-end. The team enhanced the KYC process to verify the identity of investors and companies before they start making financial transactions. They integrated with Trulioo, a KYC provider, and several crypto asset trading companies such as Coinbase and Cumberlands to convert cryptocurrencies to fiat currencies. They also developed a management console for companies to have access to blockchain and see the list of their investors.
