The Challenge
The market where the Minerva Omega Group operates is almost mature and subjected to competitive pressures almost mature and subjected to competitive pressures from Asian low-cost manufacturers. Typically if competitors offer prices, the average customer tends to buy products that cost less, even though they have higher maintenance costs and TCO.
The Customer

About The Customer
Minerva Omega Group design and manufacture a wide range of machines and systems for food processing and preservation. The group is well established in the food industry. recognised at an international level and machines are all strictly made in Italy.
The Solution
Solair found a hardware solution to acquire telemetry data in real-time and in Wi-Fi mode. On the software side, at the heart of the new DSC Nexus patented system called NEMOSY, the Solair platform makes it possible to consolidate the data collected, aggregate the relevant information related to the machinery, synchronize them with the external system. The information and data collected are then processed and integrated into the business process.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
