In the highly competitive real estate industry, sourcing and following up on leads before competitors is crucial. Mark Novak, team leader and CEO at Mark's Home Team at Cummings & Co Realtors, was faced with the challenge of managing leads efficiently to save time and stay ahead of the competition. The traditional process of lead generation and management was time-consuming, involving manual data import from various sources into their Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This not only consumed several hours every week but also posed the risk of missing out on potential leads. Furthermore, the team needed to constantly check on leads in Facebook, which was a cumbersome process.
Mark's Home Team at Cummings & Co Realtors is a real estate team led by Mark Novak. The team is committed to constantly improving their processes and staying on the cutting edge to exceed their clients' expectations. They understand the importance of engaging with and staying involved in the processes of buying and selling homes. To stay ahead of the competition, they are always looking for new ways to manage their leads more efficiently. Their primary sources of leads are their website, which uses forms through Real Geeks, and Facebook's lead ads.
To address these challenges, Mark turned to automation using the app automation tool, Zapier. He and his team built simple automated processes, known as Zaps, to handle their leads from generation to management within their CRM, Follow Up Boss. They developed a process that allowed them to generate leads from their website and Facebook ads and receive notifications immediately. By connecting their preferred tools to Zapier, they were able to automate the process of moving leads from the source into their CRM. This eliminated the need for manual data import, saving them hours of work every week. Additionally, they set up a Zap that emails the lead's information to the team as soon as a new lead enters their information in a Facebook lead ad. This eliminated the need to constantly check on leads in Facebook, as they now receive an email for each lead that generates.
