The Challenge
LifeBe, an app developed by Wojtek Gargul, was initially designed to help users discover, share, and manage subscription and on-demand services. However, after receiving feedback from initial users, the team realized that the real problem obstructing people's financial freedom was debt. The challenge was to evolve the app to address this issue and help users transition to a debt-free lifestyle. The team needed a platform that could provide the necessary tools to build and enhance their app, including additional features such as templates and plugins. As a bootstrapped project, they also needed a cost-effective solution that could deliver a native-like experience.
About The Customer
LifeBe is an app designed to help users manage their debt. The app was initially created to help users discover, share, and manage subscription and on-demand services. However, after receiving feedback from initial users, the team realized that the real problem obstructing people's financial freedom was debt. The app is now being developed to help people switch to a debt-free lifestyle. It features financial overviews with personalized hints, subscription cost sharing services, guided payoff plans, choosing work benefits, payment reminders, and rewarded subscription plans. The app is mobile-first and is available on the iOS App store and the Google Play store.
The Solution
The team chose Bubble, a no-code platform, to build their app. Bubble offered all the necessary tools and features to start the project, and it was easy to build and launch the project just after a few hours of working on it. The platform also has a supportive community and offers many templates for different projects. If more functionality is needed, Bubble features a big library of plugins that can be added to the app. The team used Bubble to create a mobile-first app, designed as close as possible to a native experience. The app was wrapped and published to the iOS App store and the Google Play store. The new version of LifeBe is being developed to help people switch to a debt-free lifestyle, featuring financial overviews with personalized hints, subscription cost sharing services, guided payoff plans, choosing work benefits, payment reminders, and rewarded subscription plans.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
