Joshua Tiernan, the founder of No Code Founders, faced a challenge when he tried to launch a job board app using an off-the-shelf job board builder. The tool did not provide the functionality he needed, leading to a lot of manual workarounds to achieve his desired outcome. He was looking for a solution that would allow him to build a fully functional web app quickly and efficiently. Additionally, he wanted to create a community for founders who were building startups using no-code tools, a niche that was not well-served at the time.
About The Customer
No Code Founders is an online community for founders who are building startups using no-code tools like Bubble. The platform provides a space for these founders to connect, share their experiences, and learn from each other. It offers a range of features, including sections for posts, adding startups, no-code tools, agencies, meetups, jobs, tutorials, courses, perks, and interviews. The community started small, but has grown over time, with more features added along the way to support founders on their startup journeys. The ultimate goal of No Code Founders is to bring more entrepreneurs into the no-code movement and reach founders who haven’t discovered the power of no-code tools yet.
The Solution
Joshua discovered Bubble, a no-code platform that offered him the tools and support needed to build a fully functional web app quickly. He was able to build an MVP of exactly what he wanted in under a month, working just a few hours per night. This experience led him to ditch the other tool and go all in with Bubble. He then used Bubble to build No Code Founders, an online community for founders who are building startups using no-code tools. The platform includes features for founders to connect with each other, share questions and updates, add their startups to a showcase, post jobs or meetups, and more. All of the site content comes from the community, with Joshua curating the best bits.
