USB Audio Development - IoT ONE Case Study
The Challenge

A Linux driver was build to catch information from the camera chip and show it on i.MX board with LCD screen. The system included me.MX board with camera chip. This framework could be utilized as a part of a vehicle infotainment system that is coordinated with GPS. Our solution gives connectivity to smartphones by means of Bluetooth and furthermore underpins a rear camera and a display system for parking assistance.

The Solution

We developed the custom board leveraging all the driver features. The i.MX53 processor features an ARM Cortex-A8 core, which operates at clock speeds as high as 800 MHz. It provides DDR2/LVDDR2-800, LPDDR2-800, or DDR3-800 DRAM memories. The flexibility of the i.MX53 architecture allows for its use in a wide variety of applications. As the heart of the application chipset, the i.MX53 processor provides all the interfaces for connecting peripherals, such as WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS, hard drive, camera sensors, and dual displays.

Faststream Technologies integrated the processor module with the customer application. We provide both i.MX53 processor module hardware and BSP support. Our software support customers to validate end application fastly and achieve faster time to market.

Quantitative Benefit
  • We build a HDMI receiver driver comprising of multiple I2C base addresses with reference to each block of HDMI receiver driver and EDID RAM setting for specific resolutions.
