Leica Geosystems: UAV for Construction SitesThe Swiss power company Axpo is building a new, underground pumped storage plant – the largest in the country – in the Canton of Glarus. In the future, the plant will guarantee the future electricity supply to northeastern and central Switzerland. The plan is for the plant to pump water from Lake Limmernsee back up to Lake Muttsee – an altitude difference of 630 metres – where it can be used again to generate electricity when required. This large-scale project, which involves investment costs of around 1.7 billion euros and is expected to take the best part of five years to complete, will employ up to 500 people at various construction sites. The plant should start to deliver electricity in 2015/2016. Hundreds of thousands of cubic metres of soil and rock will have to be removed to build the tunnels and caverns for the pumped storage plant. Most of this spoil will be transported to the Muttenalp mountain by cable car and used to build the dam, which will be more than a kilometre long and rise to a maximum height of 36 metres. The rest of the material will be deposited in front of the existing Limmern dam. The company needs to survey the surrounding before implementing the project.

DJI EnterpriseDJI is a global leader in developing and manufacturing innovative drone and camera technology for commercial and recreational use.Headquartered in Shenzhen, widely considered China’s Silicon Valley, DJI benefits from direct access to the suppliers, raw materials, and young, creative talent pool necessary for sustained success. Drawing on these resources, we have grown from a single small office in 2006 to a global workforce. Our offices can now be found in the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. As a privately owned and operated company, DJI focuses on our own vision, supporting creative, commercial, and nonprofit applications of our technology.Today, DJI products are redefining industries. Professionals in filmmaking, agriculture, conservation, search and rescue, energy infrastructure, and more Trust DJI to bring new perspectives to their work and help them accomplish feats safer, faster, and with greater efficiency than ever before.Yuneec 昊翔We started out as a manufacturer of remote-controlled aircraft for model-making enthusiasts. Coming from this background, we recognise that safety is the cornerstone of the usability and capability of our products. This belief extends to the empowerment of the people who keep us safe every day. From Fire and Rescue to the Coast Guard and Law Enforcement, we believe a view from above will help first responders overcome obstacles and make us safer. Our humble beginnings started with innovation and accessibility in the aircraft industry. From the first commercially successful ready-to-fly fixed wing RC airplane, to ground-breaking electric aircraft and next-generation aerial video quadcopters, Yuneec has pushed the limits above and beyond in electric aviation for over 15 years.JIYI UAVJIYI is a multi-national team which focus on integrating Unmanned Aerial System with various industrious applications. They specialized in commercial drone or Unmanned Aerial Systems. Currently they have two lines in multi-rotors and helicopters that are industrious grade and military grade. We have development and scale production capacity for the key components like Flight Controller, Electronic Speed Controller, and rotors. Our completed Unmanned Aerial Vehicle features the maximum flight load 120 kg, payload 50 kg, maximum. The applications in UAV or drone cover aerial photography, industry inspection, precision agriculture (like crop scouting, field mapping, farm surveillance, livestock monitoring, herbicide spray, etc.).
