United Electronic Industries
UEI collects real-world data for Aerospace, Energy, Defense industries so our customers can build smart systems that are reliable, flexible and rugged.United Electronic Industries (UEI) is a leader in the data acquisition and control, data logging, and embedded automation Controller markets. Our cube, rack and military chassis provide a rugged and powerful platform that is ideal for many applications in the industrial, aerospace, military, and simulation fields – plus many more! Our chassis are uniquely flexible, capable of being deployed as a remote Ethernet I/O node, a standalone data logger, or an embedded Controller. We offer incredible I/O flexibility with over 60 I/O boards available which include analog/digital I/O, avionics (including 1553, 429, AFDX™, 664, 708/453, 825), speed/freq input, CAN-bus, serial I/O and more. UEI supports all popular OSs such as Windows, Linux, VxWorks, QNX and other RTOSs as well as all programming languages. We also offer complete and seamless support of all major application packages, including LabVIEW™, MATLAB® and Simulink™.
With UEI IoT solutions, our data producing devices can easily publish data, and multiple consumer clients can receive that data from any location in the world. For instance, we have various systems from USAF helicopters to commercial jets that have our systems logging data for health and usage monitoring. Some have taken advantage of the internet infrastructure to move the data to the “cloud” and perform advanced analytics for Predictive Maintenance. The customer would then view the resulting summarized reports versus the raw data. These systems are also in use in ground vehicles to keep track of the maintenance requirements of fleets.
UEI has what are known as the “edge device” that acquires the local data and preprocesses it before sending it on to the AI or advanced analytics system. With our on board Encryption processing capability, you and be sure your data is safe and secure.
UEI supports such protocols as MQTT to Open Source clouds as well as VxWorks’ Helix, Microsoft’s Azure, Amazons’ AWS and more!
