In 2018, LANXESS chose TrendMiner, Software AG’s self-service industrial analytics solution, to bring transparency to operational and production processes and democratize data for all its employees. The solution was implemented across 70 percent of LANXESS plants worldwide, including all major sites in Europe and North America. The implementation of TrendMiner enabled autonomous data analysis based on recognition of previous events and patterns, early warning notification, and predictive maintenance intelligence. This meant that LANXESS process engineers didn’t have to be data scientists to make data-driven decisions.
