Michelman implemented RF-SMART automated data collection (ADC) alongside JD Edwards 9.0 to address their inventory management challenges. RF-SMART's barcoding functionality allowed end-users to scan product information for various inventory transactions, such as picking, putaway, inventory transfer, work order material issues, and completions. This real-time data collection eliminated inventory status lag-time and improved batch accuracy.
