The Conexus Group, a London-based conglomerate of five companies operating in the consulting, staffing, and training space, faced a significant challenge in managing their candidate database. The database, built over a decade and a half, was filled with dormant, incomplete, or outdated entries. This made it difficult for recruiters to efficiently make placements. Candidates were typically contacted once or twice after registration, but if they weren't relevant at the time, communication would generally cease within six to twelve months. With thousands of candidates in the system, manually re-engaging was not a feasible solution. The group lacked the capacity and technology to revive these dormant relationships.
The Conexus Group is a London-based conglomerate made up of five companies - Pentasia, iGaming Academy, Marden, Ambra, and Partis Solutions. These companies operate in the consulting, staffing, and training space, with a focus on the tech industry, particularly gaming. The group has a proud history of recruiting and training in the tech industry and offers its companies guidance and strategic direction. Each brand within the group has a different focus within the tech sphere, and the group helps each to identify opportunities and fully capitalize on them.
The Conexus Group turned to Herefish, a recruitment marketing automation tool, to solve their problem. Initially, the group considered building a custom-integrated communications tool in-house. However, Herefish provided a more efficient solution, covering all their requirements and more. It was easy to import their existing processes into Herefish, saving time and effort. Once integrated with their database and processes, Conexus began to build communication campaigns aimed at re-engaging with long-forgotten candidates and keeping new applicants engaged. They set up automated email campaigns that checked in with candidates at specific points in their journey, ensuring no individual would be forgotten in their Applicant Tracking System (ATS) again.
