The Solution
G2A chose Vonage for its variety of services and the ability to use Vonage APIs for several different use cases that could easily be built into their system. Vonage provided G2A with Verify, SMS, Number Insight, and Virtual Numbers APIs. The Verify API was used for account security, providing two-factor authentication on logins and actions such as withdrawals from customer accounts. The Number Insight API allowed G2A to significantly increase the security of a transaction when a customer provides their phone number.
