Cognologix Technologies, a fast-growing Product as a Service (PaaS) company based in Pune, India, was facing challenges in managing the time off process for its 160 employees. Cognologix chose Freshteam to manage the recruitment and time off processes. The solution offered centralization of the time-off process, automated workflows and approval process, decluttering of workspace and processes, and the ability to generate reports and view real-time information of employees. Using the annual holiday planner, employees and management could get a clear view of upcoming holidays for the year. They were also able to create and enable different types of leaves for their employees, which was extremely useful during the pandemic. The management could see the leave balance of each employee and their time-off trends, making it easy to plan daily and upcoming activities. Employees could view their leave balance and accruals and plan their vacations conveniently. Automatic notifications were generated whenever an employee raised a leave request, which could be approved or rejected by the line manager on Freshteam, and the information got automatically reconciled in the back-end employee database.
