The Challenge

There was a need for higher security at the AT&T Stadium during the NFL draft. There was a need to ensure that nuclear radiation material was not smuggled inside the stadium. Hazmat materials could often be missed in a standard checkpoint when gaining entry into a stadium.

The Solution

Nuclear radiation detectors were placed obscurely at key choke points in the entryways to the stadium. These detectors were connected to the IoT2cell mobility platform using FirstNet. First responders used mobile phones and tablets to see data from the sensors.
