The Challenge
The Lifestyle Method, co-founded by Andrew Stevens and Mackenzie Stevens, aimed to create a meal and exercise planning app to help people reduce chronic inflammation and develop a healthy lifestyle. The challenge was to build a fully-functional web app without having to code, as time was a significant constraint. The app needed to provide weekly meal plans, daily workouts, and educational articles, all tailored to the user's health concerns, time availability, food preferences, and workout preferences. The founders also wanted to offer additional resources such as a running blog of dessert and snack recipes and form and technique videos for exercises.
About The Customer
The Lifestyle Method app is designed for individuals seeking to reduce chronic inflammation and develop a healthy lifestyle. The app is particularly beneficial for those who struggle with time management, as it provides weekly meal plans, daily workouts, and educational articles, all tailored to the user's preferences and time availability. Users can also access additional resources such as a running blog of dessert and snack recipes and form and technique videos for exercises. The app offers a personalized and comprehensive approach to health and wellness, making it easier for users to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The Solution
The founders chose Bubble, a no-code platform, to build their app. Bubble offered a quick way to build a fully-functional web app without having to code, providing more control than website makers like WordPress and Wix. Users fill out a questionnaire about their health concerns, time availability, food and workout preferences, and the app automatically generates a personalized lifestyle plan. The dashboard includes each day's plan with meals, workout, and an educational article. Users can add additional weeks for $4.99 and favorite their preferred meals, workouts, and articles for easy access later. The app also offers additional resources such as a running blog of dessert and snack recipes and form and technique videos for exercises.
