To address this challenge, Uber's talent team decided to revamp its career site and create content that would give job seekers a real sense of what working for Uber was all about. The company began using iCIMS Video Studio, a tool that allowed employees to create videos for Uber’s university careers site and job description pages. These videos gave prospective talent an inside look at the benefits of starting a career at Uber directly from the people Uber wants to hire more of – interns and those early in their careers. The videos were shared on the employees' personal LinkedIn and social media pages, driving strong brand awareness and traffic to the company’s career site among networks Uber wouldn’t otherwise have had access to.
