SigFox

SIGFOX is the provider of dedicated cellular connectivity for the Internet of Things and Machine-to-Machine communications. The company’s network complements existing high-bandwidth systems by providing economical, energy-efficient two-way transmission of small quantities of data, thus lowering barriers to wide implementation of IoT and M2M solutions, and greatly extending the battery and service life of connected devices. SIGFOX‘s global network is deployed through the SIGFOX Network Operator? partnership program, with more than four hundred thousand square miles already covered. The company is headquartered in Labège, France, and has offices in Mountain View, Calif., and Madrid, Spain.

    IoT M2M Council (IMC)
    The IMC is the largest and fastest-growing trade organisation in the IoT/M2M sector, with over 25,000 OEMs, enterprise users, and apps developers as members, and an average of 300 new members joining weekly. The IMC brings a new approach – it will increase deployments of IoT/M2M solutions by proving the business case of the technology to those that would adopter it. It will stand for connectivity as its own global industry, and will not see IoT/M2M technology through the narrow lens of technical standards or a single vertical industry. The IMC will support industry efforts to increase deployment volumes by offering members services that connect Solutions Providers with Adopters of IoT/M2M technology and meeting their evolving needs.

    Since its founding in 2000, beginning initially with "configuration-based" integration, Boomi then introduced Visual Integration Technology to allow users to build and deploy integration processes using a visual interface and a drag and drop technique. This interface remains one of the key elements of the current Boomi platform. In 2007 Boomi released the technology now known as "AtomSphere" the industry's first Integration Cloud. AtomSphere kept the visual, point and click interface for building integrations and can be managed through a simple browser-based UI. On November 2, 2010, Boomi announced its acquisition by Dell.
