挑战
Network Doctor, a managed services provider (MSP), was facing challenges with its existing network monitoring tool. The tool was not providing information about new equipment being added to the network, making it difficult for the company to stay updated on the client's environment. The tool also lacked discovery and initial auditing capabilities, making onboarding a time-consuming process as the team had to physically locate the equipment and manually input all the inventory into their PSA tool, ConnectWise. The company was looking for a solution that could offer more functionality and help them maintain a high level of uptime for their clients.
关于客户
Network Doctor is a growing managed services provider (MSP) that focuses on providing a 'white glove' level of service to its 80 clients. The company is committed to being proactive in helping its clients maintain the highest possible amount of uptime. Andrew Kropf, who heads up the company’s network and data center operations, including all of Network Doctor’s cloud offerings, was looking for a solution that could improve their network monitoring capabilities and make their operations more efficient.
解决方案
Network Doctor decided to implement Auvik, a network monitoring tool that offered the functionality they had been looking for. The implementation process was quick and seamless, causing no disruption or impact to the client or their system. Auvik provided real-time network discovery, network mapping, and port mapping, which drastically cut down Network Doctor’s ticket resolution time. The tool also synced with their PSA, ConnectWise, allowing them to get a lot of information from the client’s environment and sync their tickets and configurations. Auvik also helped the team pinpoint where a network was going down and how they could bring it back up to fix it.

Vodafone Hosted On AWS
Vodafone found that traffic for the applications peak during the four-month period when the international cricket season is at its height in Australia. During the 2011/2012 cricket season, 700,000 consumers downloaded the Cricket Live Australia application. Vodafone needed to be able to meet customer demand, but didn’t want to invest in additional resources that would be underutilized during cricket’s off-season.
