两个六轴工业机器人——一个位于车身的每一侧——从它们的供应站收集车轮螺栓和轮辋,并将它们拧到汽车上。机器人与传送带同步,并在装配过程中跟随汽车的运动。每个机器人都附有带有偏振和红外滤光片的专用照明。 Matrox Iris GT 智能相机也安装在每个机器人上。智能相机定位轮辋的中心点,并在校准坐标中计算其位置 (x, y)、螺栓圆的旋转 (Rz) 以及到相机的距离 (z)。在将这些坐标提供给机器人之前,智能相机会检查其定位的轮辋设计是否与预期由 PLC 提供的轮辋匹配。最后一项测试可防止将错误的轮辋设计安装在车辆上。确定了 13 种不同的车轮组合——七种轮辋设计和四种类型的漆(白色、银色、无烟煤色和黑色)。整个自动化车轮组装过程的周期时间仅为 54 秒。

Integral Plant Maintenance
Mercedes-Benz and his partner GAZ chose Siemens to be its maintenance partner at a new engine plant in Yaroslavl, Russia. The new plant offers a capacity to manufacture diesel engines for the Russian market, for locally produced Sprinter Classic. In addition to engines for the local market, the Yaroslavl plant will also produce spare parts. Mercedes-Benz Russia and his partner needed a service partner in order to ensure the operation of these lines in a maintenance partnership arrangement. The challenges included coordinating the entire maintenance management operation, in particular inspections, corrective and predictive maintenance activities, and the optimizing spare parts management. Siemens developed a customized maintenance solution that includes all electronic and mechanical maintenance activities (Integral Plant Maintenance).
