Anorbank, the first fully digital bank in Uzbekistan, faced the challenge of implementing a comprehensive digital banking system during the pandemic. The bank needed to provide services without requiring customers to visit physical offices, aligning with the modern lifestyle of increased mobility and preference for digital technologies. The bank's strategy required a unique platform that could process requests quickly while maintaining an individual approach to each client and guaranteeing data security. The bank's team, 70% of which consisted of IT employees, was tasked with the continuous development of this platform. The challenge was not just to describe procedures in Word documents, but to create complete digital processes. This required integration with various IT systems, making the project complex due to the number of users, different groups of bank users, and the large number of required integrations.
Anorbank is the first fully digital bank in Uzbekistan, providing services without requiring customers to visit physical offices. The bank opened at the end of 2020, offering all services on its website, mobile application, or through its 24/7 contact center. The bank's concept aligns with the modern lifestyle of increased mobility and preference for digital technologies. Anorbank does not have standard offices in the city but is available on all mobile devices across the country. The bank has made a significant effort to process any request in the shortest time while maintaining an individual approach to each client and guaranteeing data security. The bank's staff consists of 70% IT employees responsible for the continuous development of the unique platform.
Anorbank chose ELMA, represented by TUNE Consulting, for its BPM system to create complete digital processes. The project started with the identification of the main business processes that were critical for the launch of the new bank. These processes were complex due to the number of users, different groups of the bank’s users, and a large number of required integrations. The credit pipeline process alone required quick and instant collection of client data across 10 systems. The MVP of the ELMA BPM implementation project included the launch of 20 business processes that were most complex and crucial for starting the business. As a result, Anorbank had fully-automated business processes from the first day of operation. The implementation project was unique due to the pandemic and the number of IT systems that had to be integrated. All work was done remotely during strict quarantine. After the warranty period, the bank continued to develop the system, constantly analyzing the implemented processes and adapting them to keep up with changes.
