The Challenge
POST Luxembourg, the country's largest provider of postal and telecom services, was seeking to enhance their business agility. The company wanted to unify access controls and create a single-sign-on portal for access to multiple services. This was a significant challenge as it required a comprehensive solution that could seamlessly integrate with their existing systems and provide a streamlined user experience for their customers.
About The Customer
The POST Luxembourg Group is a major player in the postal, telecommunications, and finance sectors in Luxembourg. With its 22 subsidiaries and a workforce of more than 4,300 members, it is the country’s leading employer. The company offers a one-stop-shop to meet all the requirements of its clients, providing services across postal, financial, and telecom domains. As a key service provider, POST Luxembourg is constantly seeking ways to enhance its service delivery and improve the customer experience.
The Solution
POST Luxembourg implemented the IBM Security Access Manager to address their challenge. This solution allowed POST customers to manage their postal, financial, and telecom accounts with one set of credentials, even from mobile apps. Internally, a single authentication platform simplified security monitoring across the company. The solution also facilitated the reuse of authentication elements, which sped up application development and helped POST meet rapidly evolving business needs.
