The Challenge
Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India (MBRDI) was seeking an automation solution for their newly inaugurated state-of-the-art facility in Bangalore, dedicated to Learning & Development. The facility, named 'Gurukul', includes training rooms, meeting rooms, quiet areas, and in-house banquet halls, all designed with a focus on occupant needs and experience. MBRDI wanted a system that would enhance the occupant's experience by improving thermal (temperature and air quality) and visual (lighting) comfort, providing tailored occupant experiences, and empowering the facilities team with visibility into their energy consumption and HVAC & Lighting systems. The system also needed to have remote management capabilities and contribute to energy savings and carbon footprint reduction.

About The Customer
Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India (MBRDI) is a part of the global network of Daimler Research & Development, responsible for product development, IT, and shared services. MBRDI is dedicated to building world-class products and services that embody innovation, efficiency, and comfort. The company recently inaugurated a state-of-the-art facility in Bangalore, dedicated to Learning & Development, named 'Gurukul'. The facility is designed with a focus on occupant needs and experience, and MBRDI was seeking an automation solution that would enhance this experience further.
The Solution
MBRDI chose 75F's solution after a thorough assessment, finding it to be the best fit in terms of value and capabilities. 75F was the only player offering a vertically integrated solution (Hardware + Software + UI + Data Analytics + Services) and providing unified HVAC, IBMS & Lighting Control & Automation capabilities. 75F built a highly customized solution for MBRDI, working closely with MBRDI's Project Management Consultants, Architects, Electrical Consultants, and HVAC Design Consultants. Smart sensors were installed across the site to collect real-time inputs for temperature, humidity, VOCs, CO2, movement, sound levels, LUX levels, and occupancy count for each zone. The system processes millions of data points daily and applies machine learning to predict daily challenges and proactively control HVAC and lighting systems for optimum comfort and efficiency.
